EDC 2021, February 17th and 18th, 2021

Theme: Celebrating, Connecting, and Caring for Ourselves

Today’s the day! The EDC 2021 Conference starts as of 9:00am CST.

All participant packages were mailed out. If you have not received yours by email, please contact Amanda at amanda@aorweb.ca and you will be sent a new copy.

The Educational Developers Caucus (EDC) was founded as a community of practice with a focus on leadership, advancement, discussion, and collaboration in the field of educational development. 

During a difficult year, educational developers have been the driving force in supporting educators while moving their courses online. We have planned the 2021 conference for all educational developers to celebrate our accomplishments, to connect with each other, and to care for ourselves. 

Educational developers now more than ever have faced rapid and profound changes. In order to meet these new challenges and pressures, we need to reimagine how we demonstrate care by prioritizing our own and others’ wellbeing. We have plenty of lived experiences from having adjusted and developed our approaches due to the pandemic. This virtual conference will provide the opportunity for us all to connect and share those experiences as we further ourselves as educational developers. In a time with such excessive demands, we persevered, and now we must celebrate our own and each other’s accomplishments.

This year, the conference will be held on Zoom from February 17-18, 2021.

Join us on February 17th for our keynote, “Caring for our community: When will wellbeing be a priority?” —with Klodiana Kolomitro & Natasha Kenny.

Registration is now open to EDC members. Your link will be sent via email. Registration opens to the community on December 16th, 2020.
